Note the high tech filter holder on the camera :-) I had planned to hold the filter inside the lens hood. But I forgot to bring it. I didn't realize this until 2am the night before the transit and I couldn't sleep until I hit on the idea of using a sock. I cut the foot part off and the resulting stretchy tube worked perfectly.
